Jessica O'Neal-Slisz is running for State Representative in House District 49. She's a lifelong Callaway County voice for working families, family farms, and the small towns that keep this corner of Missouri going.

Counting down to the next election
Two promises I intend to keep for the people of District 49.
Before I cast a vote, I'll ask one thing: is this good for families here at home? What we pay for groceries, what healthcare costs, how we fund our schools. On all of it, the people of Callaway County come first. Not the party. Not the lobbyists.
Around here, neighbors take care of neighbors. That's how I was raised, and it's how I'll do the job in Jefferson City. I'll stand up for our schools, our main streets, the folks who answer the call in an emergency, and the family farms that have always held this county together.
I've lived in Callaway County my whole life. I'm running for the Missouri House to stand up for the people who keep this state running: working families and farmers, union members, our public schools, and the first responders all across Mid-Missouri.
To me that means keeping rural healthcare within reach, funding our schools the way they deserve, bringing down everyday costs, helping local businesses get by, and backing the people who keep us safe.
House District 49 sits right in the heart of Callaway County.
It's the courthouse square in Fulton and the growing town of Holts Summit. It's the farms down in the river bottoms and the little towns scattered in between. Westminster and William Woods are here too, just across the river from the Capitol. Most of all it's the farmers, teachers, tradespeople, and first responders who keep the place going. People here still look after one another, and I'll carry that same way of doing things to Jefferson City.
Common-sense priorities, focused on what Mid-Missouri families actually deal with.
Out here, getting care is about more than the bill. It's the distance, and whether there's a doctor close by at all. Nobody in Callaway County should put off care they need.
Our public schools hold these communities together. They're where our kids grow up and where the whole town turns out on a Friday night.
The price of groceries, gas, and nearly everything else keeps climbing while paychecks stay flat. Families need real help, not talking points.
Small businesses and local workers keep our towns going. I'll fight for them, and for the roads and reliable internet they need to compete.
Public service ought to mean serving the public, not the special interests. You deserve someone who's honest with you and answers for their votes.
Our deputies, firefighters, EMTs, and corrections officers run toward trouble for the rest of us. They've earned fair pay, real training, and the gear to get home safe.

District 49 won't be won with big corporate money. It'll be won door by door, neighbor by neighbor. A gift of even $10 pays for yard signs, gas, and the door-knocking that puts Jessica in front of voters. No PACs, no special interests. Just folks who make Missouri work, chipping in for one of their own. Be the reason she wins.
